QuickOffice for the iPad is Now Free in the App Store ? Firmology ...

?

Google has sweetened the deal of becoming a paid Google Apps for Business?customer with the release of a free version of QuickOffice for the iPad, with free iPhone and Android versions available in the future.

After acquiring QuickOffice this past summer, Google has spent the last several months integrating QuickOffice conversion technology with Google Docs. Microsoft Office documents now look?noticeably?better after being converted to Google Docs format.

What?s really nice is that QuickOffice users don?t have to convert the files to Google Docs if they?d prefer not to. They?can just open and edit any Microsoft Word, Excel or Powerpoint file stored in Google Drive right from their iPad, music to the ears of business professionals using Microsoft Office on the iPad.
