Harry Kewell?s Brighton townhouse rental?has been?sold for $2.95 million.

The Nicholas Day-designed property?has a?neo-Georgian style house with a mix of the contemporary and classic elegance.

The?townhouse was?developed by St Kilda Football Club director John Gdanski and former player Fraser Gehrig.

The?Collins Street townhouse ?had initial?$3.3 million price hopes before Kewell and his family lived there?while?Kewell played with Melbourne Victory.

The Kewells?lived there for less than a year, leaving?suddenly due in part to family circumstances back in the UK in June a few months before their 12-month lease expired.

The?dispute?over the?$28,000?unpaid rent?was reportedly settled last week, with Melbourne Victory, whose name was on the lease, footing the bill.

It had been listed through Buxton agent Brian Devlin and Regina Schmidt.
