Lafayette College will name its new president on Wednesday morning, according to a news release this morning from the Easton school.
Current president Daniel Weiss announced some months ago he is leaving Lafayette to become president of Haverford College outside Philadelphia.
The new president is a native of the Philadelphia area and a graduate of that area's schools, according to the news release.
The school will make the announcement at 9 a.m. via email and on its website. The new president will be introduced at 4 p.m. at Pfenning Alumni Center after a 3 p.m. news conference.
